How do I apply for admission?
Admissions are currently conducted in person only at the Admission Office, Govt. Graduate College for Women, Muzaffargarh. Bring your original documents and visit during office hours: Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM. An online portal is coming soon. Does the college provide hostels?
Currently, Govt. Graduate College for Women, Muzaffargarh does not provide on-campus hostels. However, there are many safe and affordable private hostels nearby that cater to our students. Our admission office can provide a list of recommended facilities.
Are there scholarships for high achievers?
Yes! We offer 100% merit-based fee waivers for the top 5% of students in each department. We also facilitate HEC Need-Based scholarships and the PEEF program. Visit our Scholarships page for details.
What is the dress code / uniform policy?

Govt. Graduate College for Women, Muzaffargarh strictly enforces a white uniform dress code for all students within college premises:

  • Kameez: Plain white (no embroidery, printing, or embellishment)
  • Shalwar: Plain white
  • Dupatta: White — must be worn on the head at all times inside campus
  • Shoes: Black plain closed shoes, white socks
  • Graduate students: Off-white is acceptable; abaya/pardah is encouraged

Jeans, coloured clothing, heavy jewellery, and western dress are not permitted. Students violating the dress code may be denied entry or referred to the Discipline Committee. See the full policy on the Admissions page.

What are the college timings?

Regular college timings are 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Administrative and office hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekdays. Class schedules may vary by department and semester — check with your department or the student portal for your specific timetable.

What documents are required for admission?
  • Original + 2 copies of Matric / Intermediate certificate & detailed marks sheet
  • Original + 2 copies of CNIC or Form-B (student and guardian)
  • Character certificate from previous institution
  • 8 recent passport-size photographs (white background)
  • Domicile certificate (Muzaffargarh / Punjab)
  • Transfer certificate (if applicable)
Is transport available?
The college operates a dedicated bus service for students commuting from different areas of the district. The bus fund is included in the fee challan. Routes and schedules are available from the college office at the start of each academic session. Visit our Transport page for details.
