Smart Class Room Inaugurated to Modernise Teaching

In a move that marks a significant upgrade to classroom infrastructure, the College officially inaugurated its Smart Class Room on 28th April 2026.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, performed by Principal Mrs. Khursheed Bibi and senior faculty, was attended by department heads and a delegation of students. The new facility is equipped with a multimedia projector, interactive whiteboard, audio system, and dedicated study desks — bringing modern blended-learning capability to the College for the first time.

"Our girls deserve the same tools any urban institution offers. This Smart Class Room is the first of several upgrades planned for the academic year." — Principal

The room will be used by all departments on a rotating timetable, with priority slots reserved for BS-level seminars, faculty workshops, and guest-speaker sessions.

What This Means for Students

  • Multimedia content can now be played directly inside lectures
  • Faculty can run interactive quizzes and simulations
  • External speakers can join sessions remotely via video link
  • Recorded lectures can be archived for revision

Vice Principal Mrs. Naseem Akhtar confirmed that orientation sessions for faculty on using the new equipment will run through May, ahead of full deployment in the next semester.
